Friday’s Favorites (6/13/14)

June 13, 2014

Happy Friday! We are having a fabulous Summer here in Greenville, I hope you guys are too! We have been staying so busy that it hasn’t left much time for writing, but I wanted to share a few of the things that I have been enjoying.

1. These Madagascar Vanilla Wafers made by Back to Nature are so addicting. I saw Presley mention them and I knew I had to find them. I love that these do not contain soy it seems like almost all boxed food does, and I like that they are healthier option for a snack or treat. They are also quite tasty eaten with chocolate chips! πŸ˜‰

Cherries

I am all about getting my Probiotics so I picked up a bag of Ginger Beet Kraut over the weekend.  We won’t talk about the 1  2 Krispy Kreme doughnuts I ate a few minutes after the Kraut.

I thought Whole Foods had stopped selling these brownies which was kind of sad because I got hooked on them over the summer but I’m happy to say that I discovered they just moved them to the frozen section! So I may have picked one up! πŸ™‚

Gluten free Dairy free Brownie

This Chocolate is AMAZING! I’m been wanting to try it forever and finally to pick a bar up last weekend. Honey + Dark Chocolate = Happiness

five things I’m loving…

This book…I think it brings out the sociologist in me. πŸ™‚ I’m about 50 pages in and it is fantastic!

The Gift of Imperfection

Took a trip to Sephora last weekend and came out with a new eyeliner and shadow. Been using them for a week and I love them both. I wanted a very natural looking liner and Urban Decay Smog fits the bill.  I went in to look at the Naked 3 Palette but I just wasn’t sure  I wanted to spend $52 on eyeshadow. I thought I would buy one of the single shadows from Urban Decay to see what I thought.  Well it’s amazing so…….Naked 3 might have to happen one day soon! πŸ™‚

Urban Decay Eye Liner and Shadow

Relaxing and enjoying some tea! During the winter I think I do this about 4 times a day!

Tea and Anthropologie Mug

Stopped in at Ikea on Tuesday when we were on our way home from SC.  I could spend all day there, but we had to make it a quick stop since we were traveling. Still had a great time and picked up a few items πŸ˜‰ I mean has anyone ever gone into Ikea and not bought something….I think it is impossible!

Improvement! I love when I can actually see it, great motivation.

Let’s Chat:

Any fun plans this weekend? We were on the go last weekend so I think this weekend will mostly be spent at home catching up on things.

Do you sleep in on the weekends? My body clock usually does not allow this. I am pretty much programmed to get up at the same time everyday.

Have a GREAT weekend!
