Balance

This week I plan to focus on bringing more balance to my life. Sometimes I get so caught up in something that I think I tend to take things overboard.  For example, I am a major researcher. I may read something online or in a book and if interests me (usually health related) I will spend hours and hours researching it and often this will lead me to researching something else that I have stumbled upon in my original research.  Which is all well and good unless you do not have endless time or if you a family or a job.

Problems arise in that one has to find a balance between what people need from you and what you need for yourself. Jessye Norman

Another thing I have noticed recently is that with two little ones there are many times my needs get pushed back to later, and by later I mean I never get back to them.  After awhile this really starts to bother me.  I need some “me” time. I believe this is so important and should be a priority.  I want to focus on turning this around.  I want to carve out a little time each day just for me.  I believe this will help be to be a better wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend.  So this not only benefits me but alot of other important people in my life.
