5 Things Friday #18

It’s finally cold in South Georgia! We had an almost 90 degree Christmas, but around New Year’s it started to feel like winter. Not that I’m complaining, I’m not a huge fan of extreme temperatures either way. I would be happy enjoying 60’s and 70’s all year long. I have had a terrific first week into the new year, and am excited to see what this year has to hold for me and my family.

Friday Favorites

 Jouer Conditioning Lip Treatment

I received this sample in one of my Birchboxes and it works great and is especially nice during the winter. I use it at night and my lips stay so soft and moisturized. I just ordered the full size!

Crockpot Sweet Potato Soup

This is Julie’s recipe and I have made it twice over the last month, it is delicious!  I made a couple of tweaks. I sauteed the veggies and I used coconut milk instead of almond.

Love Life

This song kind of sums up my life right now! 🙂 I listen to it on repeat.

Adagio Teas

Some old favorites and a couple of new ones to try!

Wildflower by Drew Barrymore

I enjoyed this memoir so much. It was thoughtful, insightful, and funny as she shares adventures and challenges of her earlier years and the lessons that have brought her to the happiness that she has now achieved. I liked Drew Barrymore before I read this beautiful story of her life, I now love her!

Share one thing that has made you smile this week.

I’m linking up today with Heather, and Katie!
